About the program:
The program provides free (Funded by the state of Texas, TDFPS-STAR) Counseling for Dallas County's youth and their families.
The current need:
Day, evening, and Saturday counseling services
Description:
This is an ideal position for someone who has completed their masters and is building hours toward full licensure (LPC Intern, LMSW, LMFT-A).
The Therapists are required to be team players, flexible, good communicators, detailed, technologically savvy, and low maintenance. English-Spanish Bilingual skills are always a plus.
Qualified applicants who can provide 25 hours of service each week will be favored over applicants who can provide 10 hours. You get the picture - it's easier to manage one busy therapist than three part time therapists.
Therapists are paid $30 per session ($35 if fully licensed/ $40 if fully licensed bilingual) for sessions. Therapists will also be given the opportunity to see self-pay and other agency clients they are qualified to serve.
